Woman says ‘yes’ to proposal after injury on a New Hampshire mountain

An injury on a New Hampshire mountain did not stop a couple from getting engaged.

New Hampshire Fish and Game received a call just before noon on Saturday about an injured hiker on Mt. Kearsarge who needed to be carried out by rescuers.

Once first responders reached Alexis Hardy and her hiking partner, Tim Dupere, Dupere decided he did not want his special plan to go to waste.

He proposed while Hardy was being rescued, and she said yes!
