Meet Lexi, the pet of the week available for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society

Each week, KETV NewsWatch 7 showcases an animal up for adoption at the Nebraska Humane Society.
No one told Lexi that she’s a senior! This cutie might be 10 years old but she still has plenty of energy and would love to play with you.

While she loves squeaky toys, tennis balls and treats, Lexi is also a world-class snuggler.
After spending some time running in the yard, she’d love nothing more than to cuddle up next to you. Remember, there’s no such thing as too many belly rubs.
Lexi has done well playing with other dogs in our shelter playgroups, but she has been known to resource guard in previous homes and would do best as the only pet in her new family. If an older gal who still loves playtime sounds perfect for you, stop by the shelter and meet Lexi soon.
