‘Your diagnosis doesn’t define you’: Man surprises partner with proposal at walk for MS
As 1,500 people gathered for Walk MS in Kansas City, Kansas, one man took a moment on stage to ask a special question. The National MS Society hosted a fundraiser and walk to raise awareness of multiple sclerosis in Kansas City on April 18. Multiple sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system that can cause mobility issues, vision changes, memory difficulties, pain and other issues. As the crowd gathered in Kansas City, Joshua Lynch, who has MS himself, took what he called the biggest step of his life. Lynch proposed to his partner, Sam, on the main stage during the event’s opening ceremony.
