State district court picks Brian C. Buescher as Nebraska’s new chief judge
LINCOLN, Neb. —
The District Court of Nebraska has a new chief judge.
Brian C. Buescher will succeed Robert Rossiter Jr. in the role.

The chief judge oversees the administrative operations of the court, but Judge Rossiter will stay on as a district court judge.
Buescher said he is honored to serve and commit himself to the fair and efficient administration of justice in Nebraska.
