Teen dies after attempting viral ‘Benadryl Challenge’
A 15-year-old girl from Enid, Oklahoma, has died after participating in the Benadryl Challenge, her father confirmed.
A 15-year-old girl from Enid, Oklahoma, has died after attempting the Benadryl Challenge, a dangerous social media trend, her father confirmed.
The teen’s father, Richard Presson, had previously reached out to sister station KOCO to share her story, hoping to warn other parents about the risks of such challenges.

“Heartbreaking to watch a loved one go through this. She was perfectly fine Sunday. Within 24 hours, she tried this, and she’s laying lifeless,” Presson said.

He also urged other parents to stay vigilant.
“Anybody else who has children, I just highly advise them to watch out, you know, for new trending challenges,” Presson said.
The father initially contacted the newsroom while his daughter was on life support, but it has now been confirmed that she did not survive.
