Nebraska volleyball prepares for season opener in Las Vegas

LINCOLN, Neb. —

The Nebraska volleyball team plays its season opener in less than a month.

The Huskers return one of the nation’s most experienced cores, led by several capable seniors.

The dream of winning a national championship fuels this group, but they said it isn’t what’s driving them every day.

“For the last three years, we have come up short, and that’s never been the ideal scenario. We have to build off that and find that balance,” senior middle blocker Andi Jackson said.

Nebraska officially opens the season in Las Vegas at the Players Era Showcase on Aug. 29.
