A Kentucky man who was arrested shortly after winning a massive Powerball jackpot last year has been arrested again. James Farthing has been arrested for a third time since winning a $167.3 million Powerball jackpot last spring.Farthing’s latest arrest includes charges for second-degree burglary and possession of marijuana, according to WKYT.Farthing first gained national attention after he purchased the winning ticket in Georgetown in April 2025.Just weeks later, he was arrested in Florida and accused of assaulting a police officer. He’s also currently facing charges in connection to a case out of Scott County, where he reportedly intimidated a witness in the legal process.In that case, a woman told deputies she feared for her safety while she was inside a home with someone who had a weapon.Investigators said Farthing sent her messages while speaking with police in an attempt to influence her statements. Farthing also has an active case for a hit-and-run in Fayette County.Additional details about his latest arrest have not yet been released.
