Police responded to the scene early Thursday, with forensics seen investigating and one person taken into custody

OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha police are investigating after a large response near downtown Omaha.

The call came in early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to reports of shots fired near 9th and Pacific Streets and found a gun nearby.

Forensic investigators were on scene assisting police with the investigation.

One person was taken into custody.
