Lauren Bennett, singer best known for ‘Party Rock Anthem,’ dies
Singer Lauren Bennett, best known for her featured vocals on the band LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” has died at age 36.
Bennett died May 29 in England, according to coroner records.

Her former group, G.R.L., announced the news in a statement, saying her spirit touched many lives and that she will be “deeply missed.”
Bennett also performed with the Paradiso Girls, a European spin-off of the Pussycat Dolls.
“Party Rock Anthem” has been named the fifth most successful song of all time by Billboard after spending six weeks as the number one song on its Hot 100 in 2011.

Aria Crescendo, a former bandmate of Bennett’s in the Paradiso Girls, posted on Instagram, “We spoke a week before it all happened and I could not imagine that would be the last time I would be able to talk to you. Love you and miss you forever.”
An inquest into Bennett’s death is scheduled for October.
