Man arrested in Council Bluffs after shooting at Ralston gas station leaves one dead
Ralston police say additional charges for other involved parties are still being investigated.
RALSTON, Neb. —
A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Shane Krantz at a Ralston Kwik Shop on June 4.
Omaha police and Ralston police responded to the Kwik Shop near 72nd and Q streets just after 6:30 a.m., where they found Shane Krantz suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators said witnesses told officers that they were in a car with Krantz when a person who knew the victim drove up, started an altercation and then shot Krantz in the chest.
Authorities said Krantz was taken to the hospital, where he died.
On June 5, an arrest warrant was issued for 45-year-old George Hatfield for 2nd degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Around 7 a.m. on June 6, local law enforcement assisted the U.S. Marshals Service in taking Hatfield into custody at an apartment complex off of 7th and Mynster streets in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Hatfield will face extradition hearings before being transferred back to Nebraska.
Ralston police say additional charges for other involved parties are still being investigated.
