Ewing said every high school within the city of Omaha is represented on the council.
“Omaha has a challenge with brain drain. Too many of our young people go elsewhere for their higher education and careers,” Ewing said. “I want our youth to hear and see that we value their ideas and are providing a mechanism for a two-way street with city officials, starting with me.”
Ewing first announced plans for the council in February.
