Nebraska storms prompt state of emergency in Morrill County
MORRILL COUNTY, Neb. —
Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen has declared a state of emergency for Morrill County following severe storm damage across central and eastern Nebraska.
The declaration allows state resources to be used in recovery efforts.

Pillen is also asking FEMA for a 30-day extension to complete storm damage assessments before requesting a federal disaster declaration.
