Omaha Freedom Festival celebrates Juneteenth at Miller Park
Omaha’s Freedom Festival, one of Nebraska’s largest Juneteenth celebrations, is taking place today at Miller Park, featuring daytime festivities and an evening concert.

THE NEGRO LEAGUE STORYTELLING SERIES IS GOING TO BE BETWEEN 5 AND 6 P.M., AND WE HAVE BOB KENDRICKS, WHO’S THE PRESIDENT OF THE NEGRO LEAGUE MUSEUM, SPEAKING, BRENDA COUNCIL, WHO IS GOING TO TELL STORIES ABOUT HOW OMAHA IS CONNECTED TO THE NEGRO LEAGUES AND TO BASEBALL, PERIOD.
