Two trees collapsed on the home, damaging the roof of the house and endangering the residents inside.
KETV spoke with a neighbor on the scene. He said a woman was able to escape the home safely, but a man was trapped inside after the roof collapsed.
That man was eventually rescued by the Papillion Fire Department, and officials said he did not have any injuries.
The city of Fremont also saw extensive tree damage and flooding after Wednesday’s storm.
Dodge County Dispatch told KETV Thursday morning that trees on major roads have been cleared.
However, many homes are left with major tree damage to clean up.
There was also flooding near Fremont High School Wednesday night.
