General Mills says recalled Pillsbury rolls may contain glass

Nearly 736,000 Pillsbury bread rolls have been recalled because they may contain glass, according to a notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
According to the notice, General Mills is recalling more than 3,000 cases of Pillsbury bread rolls of “hard roll dough,” and more than 1,200 cases of “kaiser roll dough” that may contain “potential foreign material (glass).”

The voluntary recall does not impact consumer retail products and is limited to two frozen dough products sold exclusively to Walmart in-store bakeries in the U.S.
“Food safety is our top priority at General Mills,” a statement from General Mills says. “Out of an abundance of caution, in mid-June, we issued a voluntary recall of two frozen dough products baked onsite and sold exclusively at Walmart in-store bakeries in the United States. This voluntary recall is limited in scope, highly contained, and all potentially impacted product has been removed.”
The frozen bread rolls were distributed to Walmart bakeries in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
