CONCERNS AND THE WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST. 25 U.S. SERVICE MEMBERS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES DURING THE D-DAY LANDINGS OF WORLD WAR TWO WERE BURIED TODAY. THE SOLDIERS WERE KILLED ON JUNE 6TH, 1944, DURING THE ASSAULT ON OMAHA BEACH IN NORMANDY. IN 2021, THE DEFENSE POW MIA ACCOUNTING AGENCY, OR DPAA EXHUME THE REMAINS PREVIOUSLY BURIED AS UNKNOWNS AT THE NORMANDY AMERICAN CEMETERY. TODAY, THE SERVICE MEMBERS WERE LAID TO REST WITH FULL HONORS AT OMAHA NATIONAL CEMETERY. A PRETTY BRAVE OF THEM TO RUN INTO ENEMY FIRE AND ALL THAT STUFF. BOMBS AND LANDMINES AND STUFF.
