Motorcyclist dies after crash involving suspected drunk driver in west Omaha, police say
OMAHA, Neb. —
A motorcyclist died after a crash involving a suspected drunk driver early Thursday morning, Omaha police said.
The crash happened near 144th and Corby streets just before 12:30 a.m., involving a Chevrolet Traverse and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, investigators said.

Omaha police said the SUV was traveling southbound on 144th Street and the motorcycle was traveling northbound when the SUV attempted to turn left onto Corby Street.
Investigators said the motorcycle driver t-boned the SUV and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Omaha police said the SUV driver, identified as 31-year-old Bailey Burr, was taken into custody for motor vehicle homicide, DUI, failure to yield, and open container.
The crash is still under investigation.
