‘This is what I was born to do right now’: Omaha baseball introduces new baseball coach
OMAHA, Neb. —
UNO celebrated a new era of Omaha baseball as the athletics department welcomed Rob Fournier.
Fournier is taking over as the new head coach of the Mavs.

This comes after the resignation of Evan Porter, who stepped away to “put my family first.”

The new head coach said his philosophy is simple – to do things better than they’ve ever been done before. He plans to do this by recruiting the right kind of players – the kind that equalS championships.
Taking over the Mavs is something Fournier said he was born to do.
“I just believe in my core values. I believe in what we’ve done in the past and what we’re going to do in the future,” Fournier said.
