The cost of a Forever stamp is set to increase Sunday. Here’s by how much

WASHINGTON —
The United States Postal Service will increase the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp starting Sunday.
The U.S. Postal Service first announced price increases in April, which were approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission at the end of May. The Forever stamp will increase from 78 to 82 cents.

The increase is the eighth since 2021, according to data from the Postal Service, a 41% increase from 58 cents that year to 82 cents today.
The Postal Regulatory Commission, which approved the increases May 27, wrote about concerns with the financial situation of the Postal Service.
Other price increases include:
- Domestic postcards: 61 to 65 cents
- Metered letters: 74 to 78 cents
- International letters and postcards: $1.70 to $1.75
