Valley man gets prison time for attempted false imprisonment
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —
A Valley man convicted of attempted false imprisonment in an assault case will serve time behind bars.
John Torchia Jr. was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation for the two charges.

Prosecutors originally charged him with first-degree sexual assault. Those two charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal, according to court documents.
