‘That’s for you, mom’: Video shows teen hitting grand slam he dedicated to his mom after her surgery

HAGERSTOWN, Md. —
A teen’s heartwarming tribute to his mom was captured on video in Maryland.
Joel Jordan shared a video with sister station WBAL-TV of a very special moment when his son, Jaybriel, hit a grand slam.

But it wasn’t just a display of talent as much as it was a tribute to his mom, who recently underwent surgery and was too sore to attend Jaybriel’s game.
“That’s for you, Mom. Get better,” Jaybriel said to the camera.
“He truly is a tremendous young man,” Jordan said in a message sent to WBAL-TV.
