The Salvation Army is helping tackle food insecurity with a special evening food pantry they hosted on Wednesday.The event took place at the Burrows Center near N 61st St and NW Radial Highway.Staff helped clients pick up free food, including nonperishable items, bread and pastries, produce, dairy products and frozen meat.”We want the whole community to know that we are here for you, no matter what the time or season,” said Todd Andrews with the Salvation Army. “We are here to serve. We are here to help.
