Woman arrested after 38-year-old found with multiple gunshot wounds, Omaha police say

OMAHA, Neb. —

A 37-year-old woman was arrested after another woman was found with multiple gunshot wounds Wednesday, Omaha police said.

The incident happened in the area of 30th and Blondo streets around 5:30 p.m. Authorities said a 38-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Omaha police said officers located and arrested Nadine Butler.

She faces charges of first-degree assault, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and tampering with evidence.
