Six holes-in-one: A Pennsylvania teenager’s incredible golf streak
Morning Anchor
LIGONIER, Pa. —
Luke Sikora just turned 17 years old, finished 10th grade and is entering his fifth year of playing golf.
But to tell his story, you also have to include the numbers six and 12 — as in six holes-in-one in a span of a little more than 12 months.

“Everybody just kind of sees it as, like, unbelievable,” Sikora said.
The story begins in May 2025, on the fifth hole at Laurel Valley Golf Club during a junior tournament in Western Pennsylvania.
“Hit a 7-iron, in the hole,” Sikora said. “I didn’t think any more were coming after that.”
Oh, but they did — beginning a few months later on number five at Greensburg Country Club.
“Didn’t see it go in. We didn’t know if it went in or not,” Sikora said. “Went up, didn’t see it. It was in the hole.”
He said the third hole-in-one came on number nine at Grand View Golf Club, during a high school match.
“Hit it pretty far right of the pin, and it spun in,” Sikora said.
The next one happened away from Pennsylvania.
“Number four was at The Park in Florida, with Mark Goetz, a good player from around here, and my dad and my pap,” Sikora said.
That brings us to last month, and back to Laurel Valley for the junior tournament. Sikora was on the tee at number 14.
“I hit an eight-iron, just kind of one-hopped and a little bit of roll and right in,” he said.
Exactly one week later, Sikora did it again — this time on number three at Greensburg.
“I hit it a little long of the hole, and it spun back in,” he said. “My dad, he just kind of started laughing and he was surprised. I just turned over to him and shook my head like, I don’t even know what’s happening.”
That’s six holes-in-one, produced by four clubs at four different courses.
“I can’t believe they keep going in,” Sikora said.
This hole-in-one stuff is not new to the family. Sikora’s father and grandfather each have four, so that’s a combined total of 14 among three generations of golfers.
