Now, police need the public’s help finding 32-year-old Britnee Snyder.
A representative of Family Dollar told police that from April 13-17, $12,927 in store deposits were taken by Snyder and never deposited into the store’s bank account.
Snyder worked at the store near 36th and Q streets.
Investigators said surveillance video from April 17 shows Snyder performing the daily money count by putting the money into a blue bank bag and crouching down to put it in the safe. But, police said, Snyder’s gestures indicate that she put the bag in the front of her shorts and readjusts her shirt as she stands up.
She then locks up and walks off the job, according to the report.
Snyder is listed at about 5 feet, 2 inches and 265 pounds. She has an address in Lincoln near 16th and Sumner streets.
If you recognize Snyder, contact Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP or online here. You can also use the P3 tips app.
