Over 60 dogs are waiting for homes at Nebraska Humane Society

OMAHA, Neb. —

As of June 4, the Nebraska Humane Society is at 100% capacity for dogs. There are no available dog kennels if an emergency were to take place.

NHS is still housing and caring for dogs from a large confiscation case in April, putting a massive constraint on space.

Wondering how you can help? The answer is simple — adopt!

From Friday through Sunday, all dogs 25 pounds or more will be $25 to adopt. There are over 60 dogs up for adoption right now, including Zorro, Ursula, Tauro, Baby Blue, Larry Bird and Zuess. All of them would love to be your new best friend.
