That huge 3.5 pounder, how much does that cost? That is going to be serving 4 people. We’re setting the price at $180. OK, let’s try the LX burger. This is the winner for sure, very nicely braised, but not so far apart that it loses its integrity in the shape here. We’re at Levi’s Stadium 4 days before Super Bowl 60 sampling the special food items that are going to be available only during the Super Bowl that are not otherwise typically available at Levi’s Stadium. We’ve got burgers, sliders, sandwiches, fries. I’m hungry. So now we’re gonna try two Dungeness crab dishes. This is the Dungeness crab potachos, potato, nacho, portmanteau, and it has some Petaluma cheese melted on it. That’s nice. It’s crab. Dungeness crab is beautiful, and this is the time of year to get it. OK, and then here we have *** Dungeness crab roll that has roe, bacon, tomato, lettuce, it’s *** whole, whole little thing. Getting *** lot of mayonnaise, I feel like it’s distracting from the crab. The crab would be great on its own. Do less. Next we’ve got *** dim sum duo. We’ve got shrimp hargo and we’ve got charssu bao pork bun. This is good, and it has *** kick to it. It’s spicy. I might eat the whole thing. With hoisin sauce, pretty good ratio, I would say, of bow to filling. The pork is juicy. The bow itself has *** really nice springy texture. Would recommend. And then the Chinatown dog, Chinese hot mustard, charsu pork, hoisin glaze, and it says Golden Gate fortune cookie. You must love Chinese mustard because that’s coming on strong. Sinus clearing, but really good, really flavorful. The pork is really good. I’m curious about where the fortune cookie is. This is *** sourdough cinnamon roll with spun sugar. Not quite as gooey as *** Cinnabon, but satisfying, I have to say. Some sprinkles that are the colors of Super Bowl 60 logo I’m noting. I think there have been some genuinely good bites here. I hope that people who are coming to the Bay Area from other parts of the world this weekend will get to have some little sense of what makes the Bay Area’s food scene special.
