Summer Arts Festival attendees find ways to beat the heat while shopping for handmade pieces in 1998
OMAHA, Neb. —
A typical hot summer day blared down on Omahans as they strolled around the Summer Arts Festival in 1998.
Despite the heat, the festival was booming with lines of people, who were armed with bottles full of icy water.

Festivalgoers welcomed the light breeze as they perused the booths, finding all sorts of handmade art and even some live music.
